Team Lead - Shift Lead
- Pay = $25 an hour
- Hours = 2nd shift hours = 2:45pm to 11:00pm Monday through Friday
- Location = Manitowoc
- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MANUFACTURING LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE!!
This is a great full-time, temp to hire opportunity if you have 2-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience and light mechanical ability.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
- Direct/coach/mentor assigned assembly team to assist in meeting performance metrics.
- Responsible for safety, quality, service (delivery), and cost (OEE, scrap, and labor.)
- Develop, maintain, and improve pre and postproduction checklists detailing steps to startup, run, and shutdown of line.
- Visual confirmation of items by position at line start up.
- Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot machines.
- Perform quality checks in production per QC paperwork. Note trends in variation and take corrective and preventative actions.
- Clean and sanitize work area, setup (changeover), and start production.
- Maintain the master downtime for the team.
- 5S work area (end of shift and end of week deep cleaning.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on filler area equipment and conveyors.
- Shutdown equipment at end of shift.
- Cross train with material handlers.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in manufacturing
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Proficient in basic math.
- Helpful to have some Assembly experience
