Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Private Investigator Assistant or a Private Investigator to join our team. As a Private Investigator, you will go where the investigation takes you, which can include covertly following the subject of an investigation, taking pictures and videos, and using digital means to get to the facts. You will also be writing detailed, accurate reports on each investigative matter, using everything you have found. The ideal candidate has previous investigative experience , strong attention to detail, and the ability to focus on a single subject or topic, leaving no stone unturned. The ideal candidate will be licensed or near completion of the required hours to become licensed. You should have at least 2 years of investigative experience and be comfortable working independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct surveillance, background checks, and fact-finding investigations.
  • Take video and pictures of surveillance targets
  • Collect, analyze, and report information clearly and accurately.
  • Prepare detailed written reports and maintain organized case files.
  • Collaborate with legal staff and team members as needed to support client objectives.
  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with all laws and regulations.
Qualifications

  • Active PI license or close to meeting licensing requirements.
  • Minimum of 2 years of investigative experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work odd or unusual hours, following the needs of the investigation
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally as required.
