The Barry Law Firm, a premier lemon law firm located in West Los Angeles, is seeking a receptionist ASAP! We are seeking candidates with prior experience welcoming and assisting clients, as well as managing and directing incoming calls in a fast-paced law firm or business environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, poise, and composure during periods of high call volume, and will be eager to support clients, attorneys, paralegals, and other members of the firm’s staff.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet all visitors and employees to the firm;
• Answer and direct all incoming telephone calls made to the firm, ensuring communication at a professional level;
• Understand firm culture and expectations with respect to greeting clients and other visitors to the firm;
• Maintain proper visitor and guest security procedures as laid out by the firm;
• Maintain professional appearance and cleanliness of firm lobby;
• Process incoming mail and emails, and saving/filing documents;
• Assist with various projects as needed for management (e.g., filing, document preparation, organizational projects, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma required (Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred);
• Two (2) years of related business experience;
• Strong preference for administrative and switchboard experience particularly in a law firm/legal environment;
• Fluency in both English and Spanish a must.
