General Summary of Position: The Department of Public Health within the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences seeks a full‑time, non‑tenure track clinical faculty (open rank) with expertise in public health and community‑engaged activities to serve as an experiential learning coordinator for both undergraduate and graduate programs in Public Health. Duties of the position include: Teaching and providing instructional support for courses with significant experiential components at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Organizing and supervising internship placements for undergraduate students. Coordinating practicum placements for MPH students. Partnering with college administrative staff to develop, coordinate, and sustain strong campus‑community partnerships that promote student engagement, professional preparation, and meaningful community contributions. Providing academic and professional advising to students related to practicum and career development. Monitoring and developing processes to ensure compliance with CEPH accreditation criteria for experiential learning. Teaching other public health courses when needed. Providing service to the department, college, and university as required. Minimum Qualifications (Required): For the rank of Clinical Instructor: a Master’s degree in Public Health or a closely related field from an accredited university. For the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher: a doctoral degree in Public Health or a closely related field from an accredited university. In addition: Ability to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels. Experience working with community health organizations, government, or industry. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups. Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in academic or community settings. Excellence in teaching, mentoring, and advising. Strong communication, organizational, and management skills. Experience cultivating and supporting community‑campus partnerships. Collaborative skills needed to develop strong interdisciplinary relationships. Proficiency with electronic databases, data collection, and student tracking. Experience with interprofessional educational activities and pedagogy. Anticipated salary range of $70,000–$158,000, based on clinical rank and qualifications.
