Our comprehensive, fully paid six-month training program covers all training materials, class discussions, hands-on training, e-learning modules, and guided instruction to help you support our members independently. After completing six months of in-office training, you will have the opportunity to work remotely for 2 days each week, with the actual schedule agreed upon with your manager. Please note that this position may require working some evenings until 10:00 PM local time and a permanent Saturday or Sunday shift. Retired military employees and their spouses are especially encouraged to apply. Please be advised that relocation assistance is not available for this role.

For new hires starting in August, September, October, November, and December , we are excited to offer a signing bonus of $2,000, which is paid in one installment after 45 days of employment.

We are currently seeking dedicated licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) producers or agents to join our team. This role will be based in our offices in San Antonio, Tampa, and Colorado Springs. You will work within defined guidelines and frameworks to provide customer service, sales, and retention activities for USAA's Property & Casualty personal line products, engaging with members through various contact channels such as phone, email, chat, and social media.

What you'll do:

  • Enhance member experiences by responding to phone calls, emails, and other requests.
  • Utilize your growing knowledge of personal lines insurance to assist members with moderate to complex quotes, binding new business, policy details, billing issues, and changes to coverage and premiums.
  • Identify and assess member needs, providing complete and accurate advice and solutions for insurance products and services, while minimizing transfer or escalation.
  • Effectively navigate multiple systems in a contact center environment while maintaining engaging interactions across various channels.
  • Maintain required Property & Casualty (P&C) licenses and state registrations.
  • Ensure compliance with risk and compliance policies in all business activities.

What you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Currently possess an ACTIVE Property and Casualty or Personal Lines license in your current state of residence or state of hire, with the ability to obtain additional licenses as necessary.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in insurance, financial services, or relevant direct customer service/sales experience.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills, including the ability to navigate multiple business applications simultaneously.

Compensation range: The hiring range for this position is: $46,370 - $50,300.

Compensation: USAA utilizes a comprehensive approach to evaluating market data and establishing competitive salary ranges. Your salary within this range will correspond with your experience and market data for the position, and actual salaries may vary based on location.

Employees may be eligible for performance incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance, determined at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
